The two times former Martyr's Memorial A Division Champions Machhindra Football Club will be facing Bhutan Premier League Champions Paro FC in the preliminary round of AFC Cup 2023.

The most anticipated match between Machhindra  Football Club & Paro FC will be played on 8th of August in Dashrath International Stadium, Kathmandu.

The match will be played under the flood light at 5:30 PM NST. The organizer has announced the ticket prices under two categories as:

• Normal: NRs.200
• VIP: NRs.500

Machhindra's addition of the Nepalese international youngster:

On 24th July, Machhindra  Football Club announced the official squad for the AFC preliminary round against Paro Football Club. The new team includes the young Nepalese international stars like Aayush Ghalan, Laken Limbu, Arik Bista, Sanish Shrestha, Aashish Chaudhary and many more.

A pool of 8 players at once has been contracted to strengthen their team on loan by Machhindra for the match against Paro FC. Meanwhile 15 players who played with the team has given continuation.

Chencho Gyaltshen missed out for MFC against Paro FC

Bhutanese star Chencho won't be a part of Machhindra against Paro FC in the AFC preliminary round as he has been with Thimpu City FC for the BOB Bhutan Premier League. Suffering a toe injury, Chencho who came to Machhindra in the middle of the season unfortunately had to return to his home.
