Earlier, CAN had announced a tender for exclusive TV broadcasting rights inside Nepal. However, in a major update, the exclusive rights rule has been removed.
This means Nepali TV channels will still broadcast the matches, but they won’t hold exclusive rights. Indian broadcaster Star TV will also share the broadcast, making it the first Nepali cricket league to air on both Nepali and Indian TV simultaneously.
