In the quarter finals of the 5th Bagmati Gold Cup, uprising Sankata Club are facing the departmental sides Armed Police Force APF today. APF defeated the A Division League winner Machhindra 1-0 in the quarter-final and confirmed their encounter against Church Boys . On the other hand, Sankata Club are starting the competition directly from the quarterfinals.

It's the second in a row these two are facing in the domestic gold cups. Earlier these two had a tough encounter in the semifinal of 22nd Aaha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup 2023. Where Sankata were off to the final & won the title of the competition.It's time for APF to take revenge from Sankata. The match is sure to be interesting.

Prize Money:

The winner will get Rs 8 lakhs and the runner-up will get Rs 4 lakhs. Each players from individual category will get 5 thousands cash prize. Also a sports journalist with exemplary work in the field of sports will also be honored with cash of 15,000.

Previous Edition:

4th Bagmati Gold Cup was lifted by Three Star Club defeating African Roots Association in a high scoring game by 4-3. This time both these teams haven't participated in the competition.
